Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009)

Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009) — So I live with my parents now. That sucks but whatever. My mom wanted to rent this and did and I don’t know why I watched it with her. My life isn’t worse for having seen it. It’s not like I had anything better to do (although I guess I should start that English paper…). Its profound mediocrity has had no lasting effect on me. The good: Isla Fisher is adorable. That Borat is a lucky guy. Also early on there were a couple of cool establishing shots shot from some neat angles, but only about two and not at all later in the movie. The talking mannequins were interesting in that I was trying to figure out if it was motion capture or 100% CGI. I think motion capture but I don’t really know all that much about these things. The bad: predictable. That’s about it. There’s nothing unbearably awful about the film I just really did not give a shit. The character I liked had maybe two lines in the movie and that was the main character’s best friend’s boyfriend/fiancé who basically just asked “why?” a couple times. That’s kind of what i wondering when I watched this. Why?
