Sex Drive (2008)
Sex Drive (2008) — Stupid but funny. And “funny” counts for a lot more than “stupid.” Seth Green plays an Amish mechanic with an attitude problem. That’s the kind of movie this is. Also there’s a lot of sex jokes and the “unrated” edition has much digitally-inserted gratuitous nudity. Also alternate takes inserted into the film that break continuity but this movie wasn’t exactly Kubrick to start with so it doesn’t particularly detract. I don’t really think there’s any critical strategy by which to evaluate this movie other than whether or not you laugh and I did. So there.
