The Deal (2003)

The Deal (2003) — I like political behind-the-scenes stories because they have backroom deals and treachery of Shakespearean magnitude.  Not being overly familiar with the United Kingdom’s system of government was a bit of a hindrance watching this film, but I found it all interesting as hell anyway.  Again Michael Sheen was great as Tony Blair (although I guess chronologically this is the first time he’s tackled that role) and David Morrissey gave a good performance as Gordon Brown (who I know less about).  If you’re into political stuff this movie is pretty good.  If not… well then I’m not sure why you’d watch this.
