The Horde (2009)

The Horde (2009) — I really can’t say why I didn’t connect with this movie, but I just didn’t. It has most of what I love in zombie movies. There are definitely a handful of truly awesome moments. The story’s good. The blood keeps flowing. Maybe it’s because the characters aren’t very well-developed so I didn’t care about them? But that hasn’t stopped me from liking other zombie flicks. I like horror movies. I like foreign horror movies. Why don’t I like THIS foreign horror movie? I honestly am not sure why not, which kind of defeats the purpose of writing a movie review. I can’t think of anything particularly wrong with it. I’d even go so far as to recommend it to horror fans as THEY might like it. So take that for whatever it’s worth…
